Accommodation

Trak Shak （Designed by Trak Shak Pty. Ltd. Australia ） have designed and developed a camping system to adequately cater for the avid holiday maker.

The above ground sleeping area makes camping a pleasure, warmer in cold conditions and cooler when hot.

Beds can remain as they are all day long, up and away from the creep crawlies, dust and dirt with no inconvenience caused through dual purpose of the same space.

The increase in sleeping accommodation is complemented by a larger sealed in living area with perpendicular walls and a minimum head room height of 1.9 meters.

The two peg principle

Two pegs in ground and two poles under the awing are minimal requirement for an overnight stop-bed made , living area out and awing up. If conditions deteriorate (wind and rain ) extra pegs and poles can quickly be installed but are not mandatory every time you stop. Storage tubs/cubes eskies, water containers etc. can be placed in the corner of floor area to hold it down. An advantage is having gear close by and minimizing the number of times accessing the trailer storage area.

Ventilation

Designed and developed in camping mind for camping conditions every possible aspect has been considered to ensure ventilation can be maintained no matter what the conditions.

Windows under awnings can remain open in raining/hot conditions providing adequate air flow. Inside operation of zippered windows makes the necessary adjustments a “breeze”.

Trailer Features

Ø         Tailgate dut free with front and rear access. Spare wheel mounted on front

Ø         Provision for 12 Jerry cans- fuel and water.

Ø         Distribute weight by moving jerry cans left to right and from front to rear as ballast when they are emptied or refilled.

Ø         No nonsense suspension – simple long leaf spring with gas shock absorber designed for peak operation between 600 – 1100 kgms. Or Independent Coil Suspension to compliment vehicles with the same. A feature is removable stub axles with a 3^rd axle mounted as a spare.

Dust proof

The dust proof “Suit Case” like arrangement contains the canvas tent, beds and all sleeping gear such as sleeping bags, blankets, pillows etc. The camping arrangement is independent of the trailer storage area.

Canvas

Top designs cannot afford inferior materials and a proven formula has been adopted with heavy duty canvas for the roof and medium weight for the sides.

Many features have been included to reinforce stress concentrated areas subject to wear.

Windows mesh in made from UV proofed materials for long life.

Zippers used are of the best quality to give many years service under normal use.
